Flexible shifts hiring in Dallas (Dallas)

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Dallas. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
