Flexible shifts hiring in Dallas (Dallas)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Dallas are hiring part-time staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
