Flexible shifts hiring in Dallas after 5 years as an IT help-desk technician

A grocery chain and a hotel near Dallas are hiring part-time staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
