Flexible shifts hiring in Cincinnati - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Cincinnati are hiring part-time staff. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
