Flexible shifts hiring in Chicago (Chicago)

A grocery chain and a hotel near Chicago are hiring part-time staff. Thank you in advance. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Is the schedule really fixed?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
