Flexible shifts hiring in Atlanta - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Atlanta are hiring part-time staff. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
