Flexible shifts hiring in Atlanta - any advice?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Atlanta. Any experience at all would help. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
