Fair-chance hiring leads - what worked for you?

A few employers in Austin say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 8 months. Any other leads?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
