Fair-chance hiring leads - what worked for you?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. The HR contact was kind and direct. Has anyone worked at these places?

Thanks for sharing the list. I will try two of them this week.

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
