Fair-chance hiring leads - what worked for you?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The HR contact was kind and direct. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
