Fair-chance hiring leads - what worked for you?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. I am in Fresno, in case local advice matters. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 12 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
