Fair-chance hiring leads - what worked for you?

A few employers in Salt Lake City say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
