I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 9 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
