Fair-chance hiring leads (update)

A few employers in St. Louis say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 4 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
