Fair-chance hiring leads - first time posting

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. I worked as a store manager before this. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
