Fair-chance hiring leads

A few employers in St. Louis say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. Any experience at all would help. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
