Fair-chance hiring leads - any advice?

A few employers in Austin say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 3 months. Has anyone worked at these places?
