Fair-chance hiring leads - any advice?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 14 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
