Fair-chance hiring leads - any advice?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Has anyone worked at these places?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
