Fair-chance hiring leads - any advice?

I found a second-chance hiring list from a workforce board. I worked as an insurance claims processor before this. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
