Fair-chance hiring leads - any advice?

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The HR contact was kind and direct. Any other leads?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
