A few employers in Raleigh say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. I worked as a barista before this. The HR contact was kind and direct. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Ask the workforce centre about bonding programmes. They sometimes help employers feel comfortable.
