Fair-chance hiring leads after 8 years as a call-centre agent

A few employers in Fresno say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. There are 8 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Any other leads?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
