Fair-chance hiring leads after 13 years as a machine operator

I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. It has been a long 26 weeks. They still run a background check later but consider it case by case. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
