I got a lead on a company that does not ask about convictions on the first application. Any experience at all would help. The HR contact was kind and direct. Has anyone worked at these places?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
