Evening and part-time openings around Seattle - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Seattle are hiring part-time staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. How many hours do they guarantee?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
