Evening and part-time openings around Salt Lake City - 23 weeks in

A grocery chain and a hotel near Salt Lake City are hiring part-time staff. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
