Evening and part-time openings around Sacramento - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Sacramento are hiring part-time staff. I worked as a home health aide before this. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Is the schedule really fixed?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
