Evening and part-time openings around Providence - what worked for you?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Providence. Any experience at all would help. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
