Evening and part-time openings around Portland

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Portland. It has been weighing on me all week. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Is the schedule really fixed?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
