Evening and part-time openings around Portland - 23 weeks in

A grocery chain and a hotel near Portland are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
