Evening and part-time openings around Pittsburgh - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Pittsburgh are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Is the schedule really fixed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
