Evening and part-time openings around Memphis - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Memphis are hiring part-time staff. It has been weighing on me all week. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
