Evening and part-time openings around Little Rock - what worked for you?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Little Rock. This is my first time dealing with any of this. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
