Evening and part-time openings around Knoxville - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Knoxville are hiring part-time staff. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
