Evening and part-time openings around Detroit - 20 weeks in

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Detroit. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
