Evening and part-time openings around Cincinnati - first time posting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Cincinnati are hiring part-time staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

Check how they treat part-time staff for benefits. Some add them after a set number of hours.
