Evening and part-time openings around Cincinnati - any advice?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Cincinnati. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some roles have a small tuition benefit. Has anyone worked these shifts?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
