Evening and part-time openings around Chicago - any advice?

I am looking for part-time work that fits around school hours and found a few evening shifts near Chicago. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
