Evening and part-time openings around Chicago - 4 months and counting

A grocery chain and a hotel near Chicago are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Is the schedule really fixed?

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
