Evening and part-time openings around Charlotte - what worked for you?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Charlotte are hiring part-time staff. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
