Evening and part-time openings around Boston - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Boston are hiring part-time staff. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some roles have a small tuition benefit.

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I worked evenings at a hotel. The hours were steady and the team was friendly, but weekends were busy.
