Evening and part-time openings around Baltimore

A grocery chain and a hotel near Baltimore are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. They can give a schedule two weeks ahead. Has anyone worked these shifts?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.
