Evening and part-time openings around Atlanta - any advice?

A grocery chain and a hotel near Atlanta are hiring part-time staff. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Shifts are four to six hours and the pay is weekly. How many hours do they guarantee?

Ask whether the schedule is posted in advance and how they handle swaps. It matters a lot with kids.

I got the job by going in around mid-morning and asking for the manager. Worth a try.
