Entry-level remote jobs, worth a look - what worked for you?

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a software tester. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet. Has anyone taken one of these jobs?
