Entry-level remote jobs, worth a look after 6 years as a payroll clerk

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a payroll clerk. It has been a long 6 weeks. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet. Are there warning signs I should look for?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
