Entry-level remote jobs, worth a look after 4 years as a payroll clerk

I found several remote customer-support roles that do not need a degree, and I have applied to a few as a payroll clerk. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. Most want a quiet workspace and reliable internet. What should I know about the test?

Legitimate ones never ask for money up front. If they ask you to buy equipment first, walk away.
