Employers that hire people with a record, Wichita - what worked for you?

A few employers in Wichita say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 13 months. Has anyone worked at these places?

Be honest, brief and forward-looking when you talk about it. They care more about what you did since.
