Employers that hire people with a record, Tampa - any advice?

A few employers in Tampa say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 18 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
