Employers that hire people with a record, Tampa - any advice?

A few employers in Tampa say they hire people with a record, including a manufacturer and a warehouse. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Pay starts at an hourly rate with benefits after 12 months. Did they ask about it in the interview?
